Betting Guide
Live Betting and Cash Out Options Explained
Understand how to bet while a match is in progress and how Cash Out lets you manage your risk.
Popular Live Betting Markets
Live Asian Handicap
The most popular market in live betting. The handicap changes in real time based on the current match situation — the leading team is usually given a heavier handicap. Make sure you understand the odds movement before placing a bet.
First Half Over/Under
Bet on the total number of goals in the first half only. This market stays open throughout the first half and is usually suspended briefly after a goal to rebalance the odds.
Next Team to Score
Predict which team will score the next goal in the match. The odds for this market move fairly quickly in line with game momentum, so consider the on-field situation before betting.
Total Corners
Predict whether the total number of corners in the match will go over or under the set figure. This market is not directly affected by goals, making it interesting when a match is tight but both teams find it hard to score.
Badminton — Set Winner and Total Points
For badminton fans, 6tdms offers markets on the winner of each set and total points within a set. Points move quickly in badminton, so odds also shift in line with live on-court conditions.
What Is Cash Out?
Cash Out lets you settle a bet early before the match ends — either to secure a profit or reduce a loss — based on the current value calculated from the live odds at that moment.
6tdms offers Cash Out on many sports betting markets. The Cash Out value can be higher or lower than the original potential winnings depending on the current match situation.
3 Practical Tips
Use Cash Out when your team is leading but the on-field situation is starting to shift — lock in your profit before the odds affect the value of your bet.
Consider a partial Cash Out — withdraw part of the value and let the remaining bet run to the end. This is a safer way to balance your risk.
Keep in mind that live betting odds can be suspended briefly after a goal or red card — do not panic and wait for the market to reopen before making a more informed decision.

Betting Glossary
Key Betting and Casino Terms Explained
Get familiar with the basics before you start betting — knowing these terms helps you make better decisions.
Asian Handicap Sports
An Asian betting method where the weaker team is given a goal advantage before the match starts to level the playing field. The handicap can be a whole number or a fraction such as 0.5 or 1.5.
Over-Under (Totals) Sports
A bet on the combined total of points, goals or corners in a match — whether that total will go over or fall under the figure set by the odds provider.
Odds Format Basics
Odds can be displayed in decimal (1.85), fractional (17/20) or American (+185 / -115) format. Decimal format is the most common on Malaysian platforms and is straightforward to calculate — the multiplier is applied to the stake to get the full return including the original amount.
RTP (Return to Player) Slots
RTP is the long-term percentage of wagered money that a game is theoretically expected to return to players. It is calculated over millions of spins and is not a guarantee of results for any individual session — it is simply a general indicator of a game's performance.
House Edge Casino
The mathematical advantage the casino holds in every game. For example, if the house edge is 2%, it means that for every RM100 wagered, the casino theoretically expects a profit of RM2 over the long run.
Wagering Requirement Bonus
The total amount you need to wager before winnings from a bonus can be withdrawn as cash. For example, a RM200 bonus with a 20x requirement means you need to wager RM4,000 before a withdrawal is allowed.
Live Dealer Casino Casino
Casino games broadcast live via video camera with a real human dealer. Players can watch, interact and bet in real time from their mobile phone or computer, giving the feel of a physical casino without needing to be there in person.
Slot Volatility Slots
Describes how often and how much a slot pays out. High volatility slots pay out less frequently but in larger amounts; low volatility slots pay out more often but in smaller amounts. The right choice depends on your playing style and budget.
Progressive Jackpot Slots
A jackpot that grows continuously as players across multiple casinos and platforms play the same game. A small portion of every bet is added to a shared prize pool until one lucky winner takes the entire amount.
Cashback Promotions
A partial refund of your net losses over a set period. At 6tdms, cashback is calculated as a weekly percentage and credited back to the member's account based on their respective VIP membership tier — no manual claim required.
Mix Parlay Sports
A type of sports bet where you combine multiple selections on a single ticket. All selections must be correct to win, but the payout is the product of all selected odds — potentially giving a much higher return than a single bet.
Sportsbook Basics
The section of a betting platform dedicated to accepting sports bets — covering football, badminton, basketball, esports and more. The sportsbook displays odds, markets and match schedules to help players make betting decisions.
